The Woodchipper from YAKINIKU is a unique tool that can only be used in combination with one of the YAKINIKU Kamado 's, except the Mini Kamado. The Woodchipper allows you to add smoke wood or flavouring to your cooking in a simple and controlled way without having to open the lid. This means the temperature and humidity of the preparation is maintained and no heat is lost. It is not only a convenient device to lose less heat while adding the smoking wood but it is also safer. You don't have to get close to the fire this way.
How to use the Woodchipper
Grab your Woodchipper and your favourite type of smoking wood. Look here for our full range of smoking wood. Place the chips of smoking wood in the opening of the tube, open the opening at the front of the Kamado and slide the Woodchipper into the bbq. Then turn the Woodchipper half a turn so that all the smoking wood ends up in the Kamado. You can then remove the Woodchipper from the Kamado and put the cap back on. In this way, the smoking wood is added to your preparation safely and without heat loss. Now the smoking wood can start doing its job and give your dish a delicious flavour and aroma.
Also, the Woodchipper is made of stainless steel type 304 material. This means you can safely put the Woodchipper in the dishwasher.
