- Start by scraping the grill rack with the BBQ cleaning brush.
- Soak the rack in warm water with a mild detergent to loosen stubborn stains.
- Use a soft cloth to clean the rack and remove all detergent residue.
- Rinse the rack thoroughly with clean water and dry it with a clean cloth.
- Place the rack back on the grill, and it’s ready for use!
By regularly following these steps, you’ll keep your Kamado grill clean and ensure it lasts for a long time. You can also place your stainless steel rack in the dishwasher, but be careful! The YAKINIKU BBQ cleaning brush is not dishwasher-safe!
What is the best BBQ cleaner?
The YAKINIKU® BBQ cleaning brush has three strips, allowing you to clean a larger area at once. This makes cleaning efficient as you can cover more ground in one go. You’ll have better reach, and the stainless steel rack becomes easy to clean. The brush is user-friendly, and the long handle provides a firm grip during cleaning. In addition to the YAKINIKU BBQ Cleaning Brush, you can use special BBQ cleaners to remove stubborn dirt. Choose products suitable for stainless steel parts, such as the YAKINIKU Cleaning Kit. This cleaner is effective against grease and burnt residues without damaging your BBQ. Besides the YAKINIKU BBQ cleaning brush, you can use a special BBQ Cleaning Kit. You can clean the Kamado parts with the stainless steel cleaner. Then there’s the Kamado cleaner for the exterior of the Kamado and the Grill cleaner for the racks. But beware! You cannot clean cast iron with these due to the high pH levels. How should you clean a cast-iron BBQ rack? You can clean it under lukewarm running water.
Tips
• Maintenance: Clean the brush after each use to prevent dirt buildup and extend its lifespan. Do this by rinsing it under the tap after use. Note! The BBQ cleaning brush is not dishwasher-safe.
• Can you clean your Kamado while it’s still warm from grilling? We do not recommend it. The high temperatures could burn your hands. Instead, let the rack cool down before cleaning it with the brush.
• You cannot clean the heat shield with water, as it may crack. Never use water to clean it. Instead, clean it dry with the brush to remove all residues.
