The Japanese word teppanyaki is derived from teppan, which means "iron plate" and yaki which means "fried or grilled". The method of preparation of teppanyaki is therefore immediately hidden in the literal sense.
Fresh ingredients are brought into contact with a hot plate for as short a time as possible on a teppanyaki plate and sear quickly, so that they retain their colour, taste and nutrients. Cooking on a teppanyaki plate is therefore easy, healthy and very tasty.
You can opt for a teppanyaki plate on both the round Shichirin and your Kamado. A real asset to your grill!
